My copy of Michael Horton’s latest book – The Gospel Commission: Recovering God’s Strategy for Making Disciples (Grand Rapids: Baker Books, 2011) – should be arriving any day now.
Meanwhile, here is an interview with Horton, being quizzed by John Starke on the mission of the church, what he thinks about recent books by Andy Crouch and Tim Keller, and whether or not it’s a good idea to call our ministries ‘incarnational’.
Those familiar with his work will hear some of the usual Hortonisms.
UPDATE: I just spotted a review of the book on the Reviews section of the Gospel Coalition website. Oh, and my own copy arrived today!
