Possible over-veneration of the Authorised Version aside, and (some might say, but I couldn’t possibly comment...) somewhat stubborn commitment to the Received Text aside, the Trinitarian Bible Society website carries a number of resources which may be helpful for those exploring the history of the King James Bible this year in the 400th anniversary of its publication.
