I’ve been enjoying Derek Wilson’s recent book, The People’s Bible: The Remarkable History of the King James Version (Oxford: Lion Hudson, 2010), but have also come across a very handy summary article by him (here), first published in History Today, on the history and influence of the King James Version of the Bible.
