I am really enjoying reading Amy L. Sherman’s Kingdom Calling: Vocational Stewardship for the Common Good (Downers Grove: IVP, 2011), and so was interested to see this brief interview with her in Christianity Today on issues related to her book.
Although I’ve become quite cautious – perhaps overly cautious – about using the language of us ‘participating with God in his work of renewing all things’, it’s very encouraging to see her emphasis on the significance of the working lives of ‘everyday’ Christians, along with her challenge that faith-work integration is about more than just being a nice person at work.
